St. Joseph’s Medical Center
St. Joseph’s Medical Center is a not-for-profit, fully accredited, regional hospital with 294 beds, a physician staff of over 400, and more than 2,000 employees. They specialize in cardiovascular care, comprehensive cancer services, and women and children’s services including neonatal intensive care. St. Joseph’s Medical Center is the largest hospital, as well as the largest private employer in Stockton. In addition to being nationally recognized as a quality leader, St. Joseph’s is consistently chosen as the “most preferred hospital” by local customers.
In 1996, St. Joseph’s opened its Heart Center centralizing all cardiac services. Integrating clinical research with innovative and advanced diagnosis, St. Joseph’s participates in pioneer studies both nationally and internationally to advance the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Dameron Hospital is a fully accredited, 188-bed community hospital offering a broad range of medical, surgical and health maintenance services for emergency and acute care. Both not-for-profit and non-sectarian, Dameron exists solely to serve the healthcare needs of the community of Stockton, providing advanced technology and state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, as well as facilities for inpatient, outpatient and occupational patient care.
